A preparation method of styrene-butadiene latex is provided to improve removal efficiency of a residual monomer, and to save costs and time by reducing stream amount used and time in a deodorization process. A preparation method of styrene-butadiene latex comprises the steps of: raising a reaction temperature to 80-100 °C at a point where a reaction conversion rate become 80% or greater; and performing redox reaction by injecting an organic peroxide initiator and an activation reagent. Therefore, the removal efficiency of un-reactive residual monomers is improved.
