In a helical coil type steam generator for a sodium cooling high speed furnace, a steam generator having a heat transfer tube having a high heat transfer efficiency and a heat transfer tube breakage detecting unit capable of real-time detection of breakage of a heat transfer tube on-line is disclosed. The heat transfer tube of the steam generator for sodium cooling high-speed reactor is an inner tube formed of a first material, the outer tube formed in close contact with the inner tube and having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the first material, and a length direction of the heat transfer tube between the inner tube and the outer tube.
