FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: design of a building slab has a concrete base with cavities and with metal reinforcement distributed along the bearing area of the board. Cavities are made at the side of the slab surface that is exposed to tensile stress. Cavities are distributed in longitudinal and transverse rows along the slab surface. Cavities are arranged in the form of quadrangular truncated pyramids with bases arranged in the outer plane of the slab. Pyramids are arranged with a pitch equal to A+(0.5-1.5)B, where A and B are dimensions of the lower and upper sides of the pyramid accordingly. Mutually perpendicularly crossed reinforcement is made in two levels - upper and lower ones. The upper level is made with crossings of reinforcement rods that lie above the tops of pyramidal cavities. The lower level is made with crossings of reinforcement rods that lie on crossings of planes that pass through pyramid ribs. Reinforcement of upper and lower level has a power bracing with S-shaped brackets in area of their mutual crossing. Also a method is disclosed to manufacture a building slab.;EFFECT: increased loading capacity and simplified technology of slab manufacturing.;3 cl, 2 dwg
