1. A method that facilitates applying cyclic delay diversity (CDD) and precoding to wireless transmissions, comprising the steps of:! converting a plurality of data vectors associated with receiver antennas to a virtual antenna region; ! applying a CDD matrix to a plurality of data vectors to obtain a spatial diversity matrix; and! applying a precoding matrix to a spatial diversity matrix to create a plurality of directional data beams corresponding to many transmit antennas. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which the conversion of the data vectors to the virtual antenna area is achieved by applying a unit matrix to the data vectors, where the dimensions of the unit matrix are related to the number of data vectors. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, further comprising applying a Hermitian inverse transposed matrix of the identity matrix to the data vectors, based at least in part on the type of receiver. ! 4. The method of claim 1, further comprising selecting a CDD matrix based, at least in part, on the type of receiver, the number of receiver antennas, or the plurality of data vectors. ! 5. The method of claim 1, further comprising selecting a phase increment applied to the CDD matrix to configure a spatial diversity size performed by applying the spatial diversity matrix. ! 6. The method according to claim 1, in which the number of transmitting antennas varies depending on the number of receiver antennas or multiple data vectors. ! 7.
