The measuring head to Brinell durometer for registering the load and the depth of the indentation is designed to test materials for mechanical strength. The upper end of the dipstick is contacted with the measuring beam (15) fixed in the slot of the split ring (18) axially movable along the outer surface of the yoke (5) to create the desired bending of the measuring beam. When immersed into a sample occurs indenter displacement measuring rod (10) and the corresponding deflection of the measuring beam (15), which is transmitted to the recording device.
