FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: drainage system on hop yards is arranged on soils with groundwater occurrence of closer than 2.5-3 m from its surface. Drains of blind systematic horizontal drainage are laid parallel to previously chosen arrangement of hop rows to the depth of at least 1.8…2.0 of minimum normative value with inclination of at least 1/3 of minimum normative value, at the same time length of each drain is not less than previously chosen length of according row of hop. Depth of each drain location from source to its mouth varies along the length in the range of 0.2…0.3 m, and diametre increases, besides length of drain section with permanent diametre does not exceed limit permissible value.;EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent damage of plants with fungous diseases, to reduce root rotting and shedding of hop plates as a result of overwetting, which provides for high-quality crop capacity.
