FIELD: measurement equipment.;SUBSTANCE: in resonator (4) built into metering section (1) of pipeline (2), electromagnetic oscillations are excited, and two signals are generated, frequency of one of which is proportional to internal (resonance) frequency of resonator oscillations, and frequency of the other one - to its quality. Type of oil and water emulsion is determined using resonant frequency. If emulsion is of "water in oil" type, then volume content of water is determined by resonant frequency without regard to salt content. If emulsion is of "oil in water" type, then volume content of water is determined by resonant frequency for values of salt content, equal or less than 0.2%, and by quality of resonator for values of salt content, which are higher than 0.2%. Volume content of oil is determined by subtraction of found volume of water from available volume of metering section of pipeline.;EFFECT: invention provides for measurement of moisture of water and oil mixtures in the range from 0 to 100% at any available extent of water mineralisation.;3 dwg
