METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS WITH RADIATION EXUDATIVE PERICARDITIS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology and cardiology, and deals with treatment of radiation exudative pericarditis. For this purpose performed is stage-by-stage complex therapy, which includes at the first stage non-steroid and steroid anti-inflammatory medications, antihistamine, diuretic, anti-arrhythmia and anti-aggregate means. After that additionally carried out is metabolic therapy, introduction of potassium and magnesium preparations and intravenous introduction of albumin. When volume of exudate in pericardium cavity reduces to 50%-80% of initial level, patient is transferred to out-patient treatment with planned hospitalisation after 85-95 days. Treatment course in hospital is repeated until indices of patient's functional state is at the level 80%-90% of the norm, and the volume of exudate in pericardium cavity - to 10%-15% of the initial volume.;EFFECT: method ensures efficient treatment due to stage-by-stage introduction of complex of medications taking into account their synergetic action.;2 ex, 1 tbl
