FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning fruits from impurities, crushing, moistening the material, distillation of essential oil in a current of water vapour and removing spent material. Moistening is carried out using electrically activated liquid with pH 1.5-2.3 in amount of 2-15% of the weight of the material, which is obtained via electrolysis of 10% aqueous solution of NaCl at current 0.5-0.6 A, voltage 36 W and flow rate of the liquids (catholyte and anolyte) equal to 5-10 cm3/h.;EFFECT: invention enables to increase oil output and improve quality composition of the oil by reducing content of low-volatile substances and increasing content of the main component - linalool.;2 tbl, 4 ex
