FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: soil is probed with georadar. Electromagnetic pulses are emitted into the medium by a transmitting antenna. Reflected signals are received by a receiving antenna. Said signals are converted to digital form. The converted signals are compared with reference signals. Each converted and compared signal is assigned soil bearing capacity. The soil bearing capacity is assigned in accordance with vehicle characteristics, soil type and weather-climatic conditions.
