FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and may be used for producing seamless cylindrical shells intended for construction of living, industrial and storage premises. Proposed method comprises arranging liquid material on inner surface of hollow cylinder revolving about its lengthwise axis that makes ingot mould. Liquid substrate is uniformly distributed over inner surface of said cylinder. Lower density liquid material is applied on aforesaid substrate that is uniformly distributed over substrate surface and gradually solidified. With said material hardened on non-wetting liquid substrate surface shell is withdrawn from revolving hollow cylinder. In compliance with another version, shell is formed in revolving cylinder made from liquid material on pre-hardened substrate. Shell hardened, substrate material is fused and drained into accumulator container while finished shell is withdrawn from cylinder. Proposed device comprises elements required for implementing above described method.;EFFECT: producing seamless cylindrical shells intended for construction of living, industrial and storage premises.;8 cl, 4 dwg
