FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to poultry industry, namely, to additives to drinking water increasing poultry performance. The additive to drinking water for poultry contains streptomycin sulphate in an isotonic solution of sodium chloride at a weight ratio of 1:1000. The additive is once given to poultry to drink at an age of 26-36 days for 4-14 days until slaughtering. The additive is introduced into water in an amount of 0.0085-0.0095 ml per 1 kg of poultry live weight.;EFFECT: invention allows to produce a highly efficient and environmentally safe additive to drinking water ensuring poultry performance increasing due to increase of live weight gain at a low cost of the additive production and application.;2 cl, 3 tbl, 3 ex
