METHOD TO EFFICIENTLY GROW COLORADO SPRUCE (PICEA PUNGENS ENGELM)

FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and forestry. In the method seeds from blue forms of Colorado spruce in January are laid for stratification into pine chips at the temperature mode of +5+7°C. In spring a plot for sowing is chosen, which is protected against direct sunlight. After tillage surface layer of 8-10 cm is planned and removed, and it is filled with soil taken under crown layers of spruce trees mixed with ground needle litter in the ratio of 3:1. Then it is rolled with a light roller. In spring sprouting seeds are evenly laid on surface of the prepared section and are coated with earth, which is also mixed with fround needle litter, with thickness of 0.5 cm with sowing norm of 16 pieces per 25 cm². Watering is done by a watering can daily early in the morning and in the evening. Sprouts appear in two weeks with germinating ability within 85%, at the same time weeds are not removed, but are cut with scissors or pruning shears slightly higher than the level of seedlings.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase germinating ability of seeds and to produce high-quality seedlings.;3 dwg, 1 tbl
