FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology. After carrying out vitrectomy, tamponade of vitreous cavity with perfluoro-organic compound (PFOC) is performed before placing IOL behind iris. IOL is centred. First needle with first thread is taken first needle with first thread is passed outside on sclera and inside eye behind posterior IOL surface in such a way that from first thread obtained is figure, symmetrical with respect to longitudinal and transverse axes, parts of thread, located inside eye are crossed with each other in IOL centre, external parts of thread are parallel to each other and longitudinal axis and are at equal distance from it. After that, second needle with second thread is taken and passed outside on sclera and inside eye after first thread in such a way that external parts of second thread are perpendicular to external parts of first thread. As a result from second thread rectangle-shaped figure is obtained, the figure being symmetrical with respect to longitudinal and transverse axes. After that, PFOC is removed and operation is completed.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce number of post-operation complications, connected with bringing of intraocular lens (IOL) into anterior eye chamber during surgery.;1 dwg, 1 ex
