The method involves optically scanning a layered body according to a dot matrix by an optical scanner (2). Extracted signals are converted into digital data. Data of solar modules (1) is stored as data record, and evaluation of the data is performed. Image parameters are changed, and an image is output by a printer. The data record is processed in a data processing system, and is produced based on default output signals. The optical scanner is arranged in an area of transport units. The layered body is transported through a detection area of the scanner. An independent claim is also included for a device for testing a laminated layered body.
