The glass i.e. windscreen (1), has a temperature regulator (6), a heating element and a temperature sensor (3) arranged for transmitting temperature of the glass to the regulator. The regulator is arranged in a manner to regulate a thermal input transmitted to the glass based on temperature of the glass. The regulator comprises a controller for determining the thermal input required for avoiding formation of frost or condensation on the glass. The heating element is composed of a network of heating wires (2) or electrically conductive layers deposited on the glass.
