The timepiece has a clutch device comprising a lever (28) occupying an engaged position in which the device kinematically connects a main barrel (2) and an energy reservoir forming barrel (6), and a disengaged position in which the barrels are not connected. A control unit has a push button to move the lever from the disengaged position to the engaged position. Two transmission units transmit energy released by the reservoir forming barrel to the main barrel and supply the energy that is required for winding the main barrel, to the main barrel when the lever is in the engaged position. The transmission units are constituted of a clutch pinion (32), and a setting wheel (38) and a ratchet (40), respectively.
