The elastic band combination has two bands, which are connected with each other, where one of the bands is elastic and the other band is non-elastic and tear-proof. The non-elastic band (2) is connected with the elastic band (1) at multiple points such that they are arranged in a wave-like manner in the relaxed condition. An independent claim is also included for a fastening device with a ribbed clamp.
