The device i.e. clip, has a double pharyngeal arch (3) individually adaptable to an anatomy of a user i.e. patient, for stabilization of a velum. The pharyngeal arch holds the velum away from a throat wall and stabilizes a connective tissue in an upper pharynx behind the velum during an intra oral application of the device. Ends of two oral cross beams (2a, 2b) are connected with each other and form a latch (4), which lies close before incisors of the user by the intra oral application. A hose is partially filled with plastic. A tongue sinking (5) is provided between the beams and the arch. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a treatment device.
