The hot water boiler (1) has a pressure container, a cold water connection (2) and hot water connection (3) which is connected with a return valve (5) to a water line (4) over the cold water connection. A relief valve (6) is provided in the water line between the return valves and the cold water connection. An over pressure vessel (7) is attached at the water line between the cold water connection and the return valve with a supply line (8). The over pressure vessel receives water at increased pressure and discharges water at decompression.
