The device (1) has a date indicator (30) including a switching area (40) with a number of grip arms i.e. projections (40a-40d) that intervene in respective teeth of drive teeth of a driving wheel (70) of another date indicator (50). The latter indicator includes a sector-shaped teeth region (56) with a number of teeth that intervene in teeth of drift teeth (75) of the wheel. A return spring (65) shifts the latter indicator in an opposite direction during a rotation of the latter indicator in an angle of the sector-shaped teeth to reset the latter indicator in an earlier rotation position.
