The device has an arrangement for contact-less measurement of integral rotation of a turbine shaft (10), and a unit for contact-less measurement of resetting constant of the turbine shaft. The arrangement comprises sensors (50, 51), which produce alternating signals. The alternating signals enable measurement of phase positions and/or processing time. Signal form of the alternating signals enable distance measurement and/or space measurement. The sensors are mounted at a fixed housing in two measuring levels, which are axially displaced together. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining torque at a turbine shaft in a turbine engine.
