Method for dosimetric evaluation of ionizing radiation acting on medical phantom, involves determining absorbed energy dose on basis of calibration data characterized between fluorescence of dosimeter liquid to absorbed energy dose
The method involves bringing a container filled with dosimeter liquid into medical phantom. The dosimeter liquid is fluoresced while irradiating with light of a pre-determined wavelength depending on an irradiated energy dose of an ionizing radiation. Phantoms are illuminated with the ionizing radiation. The absorbed energy dose brought into the container is determined on basis of calibration data characterized between fluorescence of the dosimeter liquid to the absorbed energy dose. The phantom and the container consist of Polymethacrylate. The dosimeter liquid is selected from a group consisting of aqueous, sour solution of hemimellitic acid, trimesic acid, trimellitic acid and Pyromellitic acid.
