The holding-down clamp (10) has a holding-down clamping plate (12) and a cover plate (14), which have multiple immobile protrusions (16,16.1,16.2,16.3,16.5,16.6,16.7,16.8). The rigidity of the holding-down clamp is modified by selective, passive coupling of cover plate and holding-down clamping plate using protrusions. The protrusions are integrally formed to the hold-down clamping plate or the cover plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting the deep-drawing device with the holding-down clamp.
