The method involves implanting the young woody seedlings (2) in the ground (1) of the nursery or the open-air. A cover (7) is disposed over each seedling at the ground surface before the high growth of the weed. The cover is displaced relative to the regular area in a part of the respective bayonet joint shaped insertion slit (6) by reversing and covering the weed in temporary distances. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing the young woody seedling breeding method.
