The piston (10) is made of steel and a hub (28) for mounting a piston pin (29) and a piston skirt. Two rod arrangements (16,18) are provided with the hub for connecting the piston skirt. The hubs have corresponding rod elements (20,22,24,26), which are formed on one another in running manner in radial direction from the hubs for piston skirt.
