The device has an actuator ring (4) encompassing a bearing outer ring (2) and guiding clutch actuation force in the bearing outer ring. The actuator ring and the bearing outer ring are aligned together such that an intermediate space remains between the rings to permit radial displacement of the rings against each other. A precentering element (6) formed as an annular structure is inserted into the space and centers the actuator ring and the bearing outer ring. The structure is made of an elastomer material and comprises bars, which are radially compressed by an effect of the actuator ring.
