The arrangement has a sensor holder (20) defining a receiving opening (22) for a section (3) of a sensor (1) i.e. optical rain sensor. Compression springs (34a-34d) are supported at associated bearing zones (14a-14d, 32a-32d) of the sensor holder and of the sensor to press the sensor by a coupling surface (2) at a vehicle window. The springs are arranged in associated hollow cross-sections (24a-24d) of the sensor holder when the sensor is in mounted condition. The sensor holder comprises a holding part (21), which is attached to the window, and a separate support part (30).
