The radiation protection wall (1) comprises transparent or opaque plates (3), which are melted from treated, cleaned and recycled glass granulate of cathode-ray tubes with high purity, are joined to a wall assembly (2), are glued at the joints (4) or inserted or glued in a supporting frame and are smooth or profiled at the outer sides, which form the joints during connecting the plates, so that the profile of one plate positively fits in the profile of the surrounding plates present in the wall assembly. The glass granulate of the cathode-ray tubes contains metal oxide. The radiation protection wall (1) comprises transparent or opaque plates (3), which are melted from treated, cleaned and recycled glass granulate of cathode-ray tubes with high purity, are joined to a wall assembly (2), are glued at the joints (4) or inserted or glued in a supporting frame and are smooth or profiled at the outer sides, which form the joints during connecting the plates, so that the profile of one plate positively fits in the profile of the surrounding plates present in the wall assembly.
