The stirring unit (10) has a drive shaft (22) i.e. hollow shaft, arranged in a separating pot (60). A magnetic clutch (26) is provided for transmission of drive moment from a drive (20) to a mixing head (50). The mixing head is magnetically supported on the pot in degree of freedom. Lower and upper control magnets (64, 65) and a supporting magnet (62) are arranged in the pot. The control magnets and the supporting magnet are provided as electro magnets, which are connected with a magnet control device. Coupling magnets (28) are designed as permanent magnets (66, 67) and arranged in the head.
