The detection device (V) has a data processing unit (D) and a non-volatile memory (SP). The data processing unit receives and evaluates the signals of a temperature sensor (TS) and an electrical conductance value sensor (LS). A value is stored in the storage. The data processing unit determines the topical remaining durability or the number of carried out washing or drying process depending on the determined temperature and the detected electrical conductance value sensor.
