The stop (1) has a receiving sleeve (2) for fixing the stop at a body or a position-changeable element e.g. door. A flexibly deformable bumper (3) is supported in the sleeve. The bumper has a projection adjustable over the sleeve. A positioning aid allows positioning of position-changeable element with respect to a vehicle body. The aid has a pin (6) adjustable in an axial direction of the stop. The pin is adjustably supported in a central opening of the bumper. The sleeve is made of plastic and the bumper is made of rubber. The sleeve has a collar attached to the body and/or the element.
