The drinking vessel has a heat insulating gripping device, which is inseparably connected with a drinking vessel. The heat insulating gripping device has two covers (10), which are fixed to the drinking vessel. The former cover is made of glass or plastic and the latter cover is made of plastic or hard rubber. Cover holders are integrated with wall of vessel of the drinking vessel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cover for attaching a drinking vessel on a cover holder; and (2) a heat insulating gripping device, which has a bracket.
