The assembly has a dosing device for portioning semi-fluid grease in preset semi-fluid grease quantities. A line (10) supplies the semi-fluid grease portions to a nut (2) of a ball screw present in a lubricating position. The semi-fluid grease guiding line is connected to a pressure medium source i.e. compressed air generator (25). The proportioned grease quantity is supplied to a thread of the nut of the ball screw by a pressure medium impact fed into the line. The line has a channel (5) running in a threaded spindle (1) and opening out in the area of lubrication position of the nut.
