Cooking device i.e. hot-air steamer, for use in commercial kitchen in e.g. system catering industry, has cooking device component e.g. aerator, that assumes energy saving mode while reaching target temperature, in standby mode
The device has a cooking chamber whose inner side is maintained in a standby temperature, in a standby mode. A cooking device component e.g. aerator, assumes an energy saving mode while reaching a target temperature, in the standby mode. The aerator in the energy saving mode exhibits number of revolutions reduced in relation to a cooking process. The aerator has an aerator timing device that is attached with a heater timing device. An indicator is provided for indicating the standby mode of the device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling or regulating a cooking device.
