The electrical load has an external or internal controlling device, which is implemented as receiver for radio waves, particularly short, central and long wave, or electromagnetic waves of certain frequency. The radio waves or electromagnetic waves are provided to transfer controlling information. The controlling device controls the operating condition of the load in dependence of the received electromagnetic waves and or in dependence of user inputs or in dependence of sensor signals. An independent claim is also included for a controlling device, which has a radio receiver.
