The arrangement has a valve with a pump connection, an operating connection and a tank connection. A controller (8) controls the valve based on a flow rate (Qservo). A feedback path (9) has a pressure gauge (10) to feedback a pressure actual value (Pist) and a pressure nominal value (Psoll) as a control variable to a differentiator (11). A digital control unit (12) of a digital controller (28) is provided between the differentiator and the controller (8) for reciprocal of a pressure-dependent gain and for multiplying the reciprocal with the controlled variable. An independent claim is also included for a method for pressure control of an electro-hydraulic pressure control circuit.
