The frame has a detachable locking element (60) arranged between a seat support (20) and an intermediate piece (50). A handle (70) is provided at a backrest (40), which is movably connected with the locking element. Swivel movement of the intermediate piece is prevented against the seat support in a normal locking condition. The handle brings the locking element into a release position during actuation of the handle. A spindle drive includes a gear unit (82) and a spindle (84) adjustable with respect to the gear unit, and is arranged between the backrest and the intermediate piece.
