The device has two hinges (3.1, 3.2) fastened at a vehicle component (1). A compensating element has an end supported at a base surface of a recess, and another end resting on a front side of another compensating element i.e. bearing pin (6), where length variation of the vehicle component is compensated. The latter compensating element is made of an elastic mold body i.e. polymer. A surface area of the latter compensating element is arranged in a bearing block. A bearing bush (7) is axially adjusted in the latter compensating element.
