A condensate discharge device (12) discharges condensate (13) to the atmosphere surrounding a room, where the condensate is formed during operation of the heat exchanger. The condensate discharge device comprises a collecting tray, and an outlet of the collecting tray is connected with the atmosphere. The discharge device comprises a groove, which connects the outlet of the tray with an exhaust air tube (11).
