The container (1) has several height-adjustable intermediate bottoms (2) and/or a height-adjustable roof (3). A lifting equipment (5) is formed in pairs facing telescopic units and consists of vertically extendable hydraulic cylinders and supporting columns. The hydraulic cylinders of the lifting equipment are arranged for the intermediate bottoms and the roof at side panels. The telescopic units and supporting columns are provided with compatible boreholes. A central control is provided for the respective hydraulic cylinders.
