The arrangement has a support rail (3) with a bearing surface (30) for establishment of the support rail in a guide rail of an installation cage. A band-shaped damping element (4) is arranged at a side of the support rail turned to the module components (1) for absorption of lateral relative motions between the module component and the installation cage. An independent claim is also included for a method for establishment of a module component in a computer.
