The housing (100) has a heat insulation part (104), and a receptacle formed within the heat insulation part for an electrochemical device e.g. battery. A tensioning device (108) is provided for tensioning the electrochemical device against the housing. The tensioning device includes an external carrier structure (112) e.g. open frame, arranged outside the heat insulation part and a spring element (110) e.g. coil spring, gas-pressurized spring and/or hydraulic spring, where the electrochemical device is tensionable against the external carrier structure by using the spring element.
