The chuck (14) has a rotary fixing body (68) for rotary fixing of a base body (30) at a counter holding element (52) of a hand-held machine tool (10). The rotary fixing body at the base body is mounted between a rotary fixing position and a rotary release position in an axially movable and torque-proof manner. The rotary fixing body is in torque-proof engagement with the counter holding element in the rotary fixing position. The rotary fixing body is removed from the counter holding element and the base body is rotated with respect to a housing (12) of the tool in the rotary release position.
