The method involves measuring filled volume and filling level in a filled container by a measuring device (5) i.e. flow measuring device, of a filler (2). Measured values associated with the volume and filling level are evaluated for quality control. The measurement of the filling level is considered with a higher tolerance region. A filling level controller (10) is connected with the filler that is provided with a real-time interface. A volume measurement signal is processed by a controller (8) of the filler. An independent claim is also included for a filling system comprising a filler.
