The arrangement has a bearing (3) through which a lubricant i.e. water, flows, where the bearing forms a bearing intermediate space (4). A covering plate (5) covers an opening (6) of the bearing intermediate space, and forms sealing gaps (7, 8) that are permeable for the lubricant. The covering plate is rotatably supported at a housing (2) by an auxiliary bearing (9). The bearing is formed as a radial bearing, and the auxiliary bearing is formed as an axial bearing. The covering plate has a circular body made of plastic.
