Method for separating hydrogen sulfide from a gas stream using supersonic cyclone separator, by condensing the gas stream and then conducting through the cyclone separator, in which the hydrogen sulfide is separated from the gas stream
The method for the separation of hydrogen sulfide from a gas stream using supersonic cyclone separator, comprises condensing the gas stream and then conducting through the cyclone separator, in which the hydrogen sulfide is separated from the gas stream. The gas is conducted through a laval nozzle (LD) by which the gas stream is supplied in supersonic speed. The gas stream before the laval nozzle is supplied by a flow directing element (FG) to a spin. The gas behind the laval nozzle flows axially through a separation chamber (SC) and is compacted into hydrogen sulfide condensed for fluid. The gas behind the laval nozzle flows axially through a separation chamber (SC) and is compacted into hydrogen sulfide condensed for fluid in sequence of its inertia from the gas flow at an external diameter. The gas portion of the gas flow from a radial interior area, and condensed fluid from a radial external area of the separation chamber are stripped. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for conveying natural gas loaded with hydrogen sulfide, from a source; and (2) a device for separating hydrogen sulfide from a gas stream.
