The drive (2) has a driver for changing switching condition of a handle of a circuit breaker by changing a position of the driver opposite to the handle. An electric motor is provided to change the position of the driver. A processor (4) controls a local operation and a remote operation of the drive, where the processor is arranged on a printed circuit board. The processor monitors time-dependent and/or path-dependent events of the circuit breaker, and an input unit is provided for outputting signals to the processor.
