The vibrator has telescope-like outer and inner elements (2, 3) displaceable to each other and causing length variation of the vibrator. A spring (8) presses the elements to or from each other in a relaxed condition. A traction mechanism (12) is in counteract during actuation of force of the spring for length variation of the vibrator. The traction mechanism is connected with a drive rhythmically stretching and relaxing the spring, and the elements are designed as casings. An adjustable control member limits the length variation of the vibrator.
