The device (1) has a clamping frame (2) provided in circulating manner at a frame (5) of a building opening i.e. window, by suspension brackets (14), which are provided opposite to each other, and an insect screen, where one of the brackets is displaceable. The brackets are connected with a mounting plate (9). A magnet e.g. retaining magnet (17), is attached to a side of the plate and at a side of the clamping frame. The magnet and another magnet e.g. frame magnet (19), are opposite-poled and are brought into mutually attractive position when the plate is in locking position.
